What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

Software Development: Design, code, and test new software applications and business modules.

Bug Squashing: Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain source code to ensure high application performance.

Documentation: Create and update technical artifacts, including flowcharts, layouts, and system diagrams.

Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-up calls, work in Agile environments, and coordinate with senior developers and project leads.

Continuous Learning: Undergo intensive training in modern tech stacks like Java, Python, C#, or Cloud Fundamentals through Cognizant’s specialized academies.
Eligibility Criteria

Academic Excellence: Consistent record with a minimum of 60% (or 6.0 CGPA) in 10th, 12th, Diploma, and Graduation. (Strictly no rounding off 59.9%).

Streams: Open to Engineering & Science graduates. (Note: Streams like Food, Leather, and Fashion technology are typically excluded).

Backlogs: Candidates must have zero standing arrears at the time of joining.

Work Flexibility: Must be open to working in any Cognizant office location and flexible shift timings.
The Selection Journey
The Cognizant GenC recruitment process is structured into four key stages:

Communication Assessment: An AI-based virtual test evaluating your English fluency, listening, and speaking skills.

Aptitude Assessment: Online test covering Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Verbal Ability.
