Junior Web Developer opening at Braintrust

At Webmors we build for the web and we take our clients seriously, always aiming to deliver performance-optimized web applications with unique designs and features. We are looking for a motivated Web Backend Developer to join our team and work on innovative web applications.

Duties and responsibilities:

–       Write clean and well-designed code to convert static web pages to dynamic content pages on our content management system

–       Optimizing web pages for maximum response times and SEO according to our best practices and guidelines

Required qualifications:

–       At least 1 year of experience as a software or web developer

–       Excellent knowledge of software development best practices

–       Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and jQuery

–       Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP and JavaScript)

–       Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

–       Ability to complete tasks within given deadlines

–       Fluent in Greek or English

Preferred qualifications:

–       Good understanding of MVC frameworks

–       Knowledge of PHP frameworks, like Laravel and PHP CMSs, like October CMS

–       Knowledge of versioning systems such as Git and code review best practices

–       Knowledge of relational database systems and SQL
