Job Description:
Position: AEM Web Engineering QA
Location: Bangalore

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Design, implement and execute test cases and scripts to validate functionalities, use cases of the solution including end to end testing in a real environment.
  • Validate CMS and web-based applicatio ns with functional, UI and cross-browser testing coverage.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing scope to meet day to day tasks.
  • Create and manage bug reports with effective communication within team.
  • Identify, design, and implement automation test scripts using Playwright and JS (or related framework).
  • Build, manage and run automated builds on different environments.
  • Perform first level of investigation on failed tests in order to identify root cause.
  • Work closely in an agile environme nt that includes collaboration with the dev and qa teams, validation of user stories and creation of corresponding bug tickets.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the QA team documentation and proces s improvements which includes topics like test strategies, improvement to automation , explore new frameworks, practices, technologies about testing.

Help onboard new team members joining in future.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 4+ years of industry experience in validating web-based applications
  • 2+ years of industry experience as an AEM QA with strong understanding and knowledge for testing Content management systems
  • Demonstrated experience on UI based cross-browser testing , based on design tools like Figma , Zeplin
  • Experience of web, mobile and API testing in both as a manual and automation QA
  • Experience in implementing automation tests using frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Playwright, RestAssured etc
  • Experience of working with programming language – Java / JavaScript
  • Experience in using defect management tools like JIRA effectively.
  • Well-versed with test case management tools like TestLink / X-Ray / Testpad etc
  • Ability to use version control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Well versed with Agile software development methodology

Great interpersonal and communication skills to closely work with remote teams spread in multiple countries.

OTHER DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• • Basic knowledge on other non-functional areas like Accessibility testing, SEO testing , Load testing and Performance testing
  • Ability to take ownership of Manual and Automation tasks with minimum guidance.
  • Ability to identify which automated testing frameworks/ tools can be implemented in various areas based on the problem statements.
  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks and lead, if required.
