As Business Systems Analyst you will have to leverage skills to derive answers to Employees’ ongoing business analytics and reporting questions, plus to be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions utilizing tools such as BI SQL or Power Query. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, analytical, and a natural problem solver.
Essential Functions
- Develop report dashboards and publish to workspaces for stakeholders in departments such as finance, sales, Marketing & IT
- Collaborate directly with various parts of the business to understand their data Analysis and reporting needs.
- Develop or Modify reports in Power BI, SQL, excel or Power Query to optimize the user experience.
- Administer role-based access to employees for reports, dashboards, and datasets
- Troubleshoot and maintain BI products developed and follow data governance process and procedures.
- Work with various employees across the company to educate them on use of the data analytics platform.
- Capture employee requirements and translate reporting needs into dashboards
- Manage expectations regarding ongoing and future product development efforts
- Extract, Transform and load data from various sources such as SQL, NetSuite and ServiceNow into the BI environment.
- Document data flow and BI dashboard configurations.
Skills needed to be successful
- Minimum 3yr Experience with Power BI including DAX formulas and enterprise workspaces
- Minimum 1yr Experience with Netsuite reporting
- Microsoft SQL Experiance
- Experience with MS Power Query
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work cross-departmentally.
Preferred Experience & Education
- Reports in ServiceNow
- Experience with Power Automate
- Understands or has prior experience with financial reporting
