Genpact Hiring Assistant Vice President – Practice SME (AI & Digital Transformation) in Vizianagaram

We are hiring an Assistant Vice President – Practice SME (Agentic AI) to lead strategy, delivery, and growth in domain-specific, autonomous AI solutions, particularly in finance & accounting.

As Practice SME, you will bridge the gap between business strategy, AI innovation, and operations. You will lead blueprints, drive proposals, consult with clients, and architect end-to-end solutions. This is a leadership opportunity to shape Genpact’s AI roadmap, work globally, and influence major client decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex finance & accounting blueprinting across multiple countries/regions.

• Drive RFX/RFP responses and sales presentations; pitch solutions to senior executives and business heads.

• In architecture capacity, lead due diligence, solution design, and support transitions post-selection.

• Define and refine Genpact’s product / service offerings in Agentic AI for Finance (e.g. Genpact AP Suite).

• Develop and maintain knowledge repository for Accounts Payable processes (industry nuances, benchmarking, best practices).

• Collaborate with global teams to standardize and enhance product offerings.

• Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members; identify training needs and build capability.

• Stay updated on accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), regulatory rules (SOX etc.), industry trends and changes.

• Travel extensively as required for client meetings, implementation oversight, etc.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar); professional accounting qualification (CA / CPA / CMA etc.) is a plus.

• Strong track record (10+ years) in finance / shared services / BPO / SSC environments, with progressive responsibility.

• Solid experience in people leadership and project delivery.

• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management at senior levels.

• Ability to think strategically, challenge assumptions, and provide business rationale.

• Exposure to process architecture, automation, digital transformation, AI/ML use cases in finance is a plus.

• Strong change management, problem solving, and facilitation skills.

• Organized multitasker with a proactive, energetic attitude.

Location & Travel

• Based in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh (or nearby)

• Must be willing to travel extensively (domestic & potentially international)
