About the Role :
A Randstad India client in the logistics sector is hiring an IT Manager to lead and scale their IT operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for ensuring high application and website uptime, driving quality in software delivery, and guiding IT infrastructural support for hardware, networking, and user needs. This role involves strategic planning, process improvements, guiding a small team (3–4 direct reports initially), and preparing the IT environment for certification and growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead development or acquisition of business-supporting applications.

• Ensure 99.5% application availability across all company locations.

• Maintain ≥ 99% uptime for the company website.

• Identify and correct non-conformities in processes and applications (especially for ISO compliance).

• Scale acquired applications internally as business grows.

• Conduct comprehensive quality testing for all software built or acquired.

• Provide technical support for hardware and network infrastructure for users across Indian locations.

• Assist Managing Director in defining IT-based strategies for business support.

• Update user manuals and standard operating procedures to reflect system enhancements.

• Deliver ongoing training to staff to ensure effective use of applications and systems.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience :

• Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Science, Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related field.

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, ideally in the logistics sector.

• Proven experience in IT Project Management, IT Service Delivery.

• Experience in database administration.

• Strong leadership skills managing teams (initially 3‐4 direct reports) and ability to scale operations.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure, network, and hardware support.
