Job Purpose
Drive business growth and expand market share among top Modern Trade (MT) accounts across South India by executing channel strategies. Strengthen customer engagement, ensuring prime shelf presence and influence with key category stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Assist KAM in managing and nurturing national MT accounts headquartered in the South region (Reliance, MRL, Ratnadeep, Lulu, DMart, etc.).

Support regional and non-South account engagement and turnover via distributors.

Oversee end-to-end operations for non-South geographies (distributor driven MT accounts).

Lead a team of field staff (3P supervisors, promoters, merchandisers) across the South region — including performance analytics.

Ensure in-store visibility execution per monthly plans in MT accounts.

Identify and onboard new MT accounts.

Manage stock levels, ensure sales plan compliance, coordinate billing with internal stakeholders.

Analyze regional sales & performance data; evaluate 3P team metrics.

Develop and implement trade marketing strategies, promotional investments to drive in-store sales.

Maintain relationships with key MT partners and ensure smooth execution of promotions and merchandising.
Experience & Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 8 years in sales, preferably within FMCG and Modern Trade environments.

Education: Postgraduate degree (MBA / equivalent) is essential.

Demonstrable exposure to managing MT accounts like DMart, Reliance, Metro, etc.

Strong understanding of FMCG, MT operations, channel strategies, and sales execution.

Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage cross-functional priorities.

Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Good grasp of trade promotions, merchandising, distributor management, and sales metrics.

Salary Range :
