About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our technology team in Pune. You’ll play a key role in delivering cloud projects from strategy through execution, working across AWS, Azure, security, networking, and automation to drive innovation in our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS & Azure) to meet business requirements

• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud resources

• Work with Linux server environments and write scripts (Python, Bash) for automation, monitoring, and operations

• Ensure proper identity, access, security, and networking configurations in cloud environments

• Manage SSL certificates, encryption, and secure data storage

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—product, software, operations—to define requirements and integrate solutions

• Participate in code reviews, promote best practices and knowledge sharing

• Stay up to date on cloud technologies, trends, and best practices; drive continuous improvement

• Adhere to secure coding and governance practices to mitigate risk

• (If in a leadership path) Mentor junior engineers, influence architecture decisions, and contribute to policy/design across the organization

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, Service Catalog) and Azure (VMs, App Services, Functions, VNets)

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, storage architecture

• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems

• Scripting skills—Python, Bash, or equivalent

• Experience with SSL/TLS, encryption, security protocols

• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices

Desired / Nice-to-Have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Azure Solutions Architect certification

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, containerization

• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies

• Experience designing governance, cost optimization, and scalability frameworks
