Role Overview

You will join our Cloud Engineering team in a hybrid / remote capacity. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you’ll monitor cloud systems, troubleshoot issues, perform scheduled tasks, and escalate when needed. You’ll be critical in ensuring consistent system reliability and meeting SLAs across a 24×7×365 environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor cloud dashboards, alerts, and events; interpret trends and anomalies

  • Resolve common (Tier-1 / Tier-2) issues and escalate urgent or complex ones

  • Coordinate with internal teams and, occasionally, with customers

  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and internal KPIs; escalate when cases overrun

  • Log and document all troubleshooting steps and resolution actions in the case management system

  • Track backlog, report status to stakeholders, and maintain SLA adherence

  • Work varied shifts (day, night, weekend, holiday) to support global operations

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • 1+ years of relevant experience (freshers with strong fundamentals are also welcome)

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Understanding of networking, databases, web services

  • Concepts of monitoring: availability, latency, performance, end-to-end health

  • Proficiency with scripting / query languages (Python, SQL, HTML)

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, PowerShell

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Event Management

Certifications (Optional but Desired)

  • Entry-level cloud, network, or security certification (e.g. AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA)
