Position: MS Engineer – Linux (L1)

About the Role
As a Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L1), you will provide first-line support across multiple technology domains (Linux, cloud, networking, security, applications, etc.). You will monitor client infrastructure, diagnose and resolve incidents, and ensure high availability of services—all while working within SLA frameworks.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor client infrastructure & systems to proactively identify issues

Investigate and resolve standard / low complexity incidents & service requests

Provide support via chat / phone when required

Schedule maintenance windows and perform patching or configuration updates

Escalate issues when needed and ensure service continuity across shifts

Maintain and update knowledge base / documentation
-
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and incident reduction

Support project tasks or disaster recovery testing as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Entry-level experience in troubleshooting, support, or system / network administration
-
Basic knowledge of Linux, security, networking, system monitoring

Familiarity with ITIL processes

Good communication skills and ability to work in a client-facing environment

Problem-solving mindset, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to learn
Desirable / Preferred Skills
-
Certifications such as CCNA, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect, VMware, etc.

Experience with tools / technologies such as virtualization, cloud, DR, storage, etc.

Knowledge across multiple domains (networking, security, applications)

Ability to work well in cross-cultural and dynamic teams
Salary Range :
₹3,00,000 – ₹5,50,000 per annum
