Role Overview

You’ll join the Front Office Trading team and drive both manual and automated testing efforts for enterprise & cloud-native systems. Your focus will be on ensuring the quality of trading / financial modules, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and owning parts of the quality strategy end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Scrum Master, Product Owner, Devs, BAs to align on quality goals

• Create comprehensive test plans and reusable test cases based on requirements

• Execute manual and automated tests: functional, integration, regression, performance

• Maintain and enhance test libraries/scripts (automated & manual)

• Report and track defects in issue tracking systems; communicate clearly to devs/teams

• Review business requirements & functional specs to provide early QA input

• Follow agile practices; adhere to testing schedules

• Handle smaller tasks independently, escalate or coordinate when needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.S. / B.Tech / M.S. (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related)

• 6+ years of experience in software testing / quality functions, especially in enterprise / cloud contexts

• 2+ years hands-on experience in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Jenkins, Gradle, etc.)

• Strong SQL / relational database knowledge

• Experience working in Agile / iterative development environments

• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Exposure to financial trading systems & knowledge of securities / trading principles is a strong plus

• Bonus skills: XML, VBScript, PowerShell, Macros

Nice-to-Have

• Experience testing both client/server and web applications

• Understanding of high-concurrency, event-driven systems

• Prior exposure to performance and load testing
