Role Overview

As a Trainee Software Engineer, you’ll get hands-on experience working in Drupal/web development projects. You’ll learn from senior engineers, contribute to real client work, and develop analytical, coding, and communication skills in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in development of Drupal-based web applications
Work under guidance to understand requirements, design, and coding
Participate in testing, debugging, and delivery of modules
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, QA, devops)
Engage in client communication (especially for international clients)
Continuously learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree (BE / B.Tech / MCA / related stream)
Minimum 85% marks in graduation
Strong analytical and logical ability
Excellent oral & written English communication skills
Basic programming familiarity (web, PHP, CMS, or any language) is a plus
Certifications (Drupal, web, etc.) are a plus

Work Arrangements & Location

Selected candidates will be based in the Thiruvananthapuram office.
Outstation candidates may qualify for a permanent work-from-home option after joining.

Salary Range

For a Trainee / Entry-level Software Engineer in India:

Glassdoor reports base pay between ₹3,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 / year for trainee software engineers.
Indeed lists average for a software trainee around ₹4,07,671 / year

Given the niche specialization (Drupal / web development) and location (Kerala), a fair compensation band would be:

₹3,50,000 – ₹5,50,000 per annum
